Spicy Crockpot Whole Chicken is an easy and clean recipe I  found on Pinterest but it comes from Food.com.  Because the first whole chicken I cooked in the crockpot was so easy (check it out here) and tasty I knew I’d love this one!  It’s spicy, how could I not?

It’s been quite some time since I first tried the Kali Hart Chardonnay by Talbott Vineyards.  (You can read about it here.) I thought Chardonnay was the only wine from the Kali Hart line.  So naturally I wanted to try the Pinot Noir when I saw it.

My first installment of Boozy Cupcakes was an experiment for a baby shower I helped throw this past weekend.  It was a co-ed baby shower with lots of BBQ, beer and cupcakes!  When planning the shower we started with the invitation utilizing the colors of the baby’s nursery:

A couple of weekends ago we ventured out to Winewood Grill (Grapevine) for a fun dinner with friends.  There were 9 of us and we were quite a group but our waiter was a good sport putting up with us.  Our group was setup outside on the covered, partially enclosed patio.  I say partially enclosed because about

Healthier Zuppa Toscana

My friend Kandice over at Barque and Bite shared with me her recipe for a homemade knockoff version of Zuppa Toscana a few years back.  This soup is rich with flavor and warmth.  I loved it from the first time I made it.  In fact it wasn’t until after I made it a couple times that I finally went to Olive Garden

Mockingbird Taproom

My friend V and I try to get together at least once a month to catch up; sometimes this happens and sometimes it doesn’t.  For our last get together we tried out the new arrival to Mockingbird Station in Dallas: Mockingbird Taproom.  We both love to try new places, so this spot was perfect.

I was the first to arrive so I ordered a Revolver Blood & Honey beer while I waited.  Mockingbird Taproom

I have to be honest, the first time I made this Clean Easy Teriyaki Crockpot Chicken recipe I totally botched it.  I had no idea you could actually ruin a meal that is being prepared in the crockpot…well now I know you can! Learned that the hard way!  On my first attempt I cut up the chicken into bite size pieces
