Despite the many Stephan Pyles restaurants in Dallas, I’d never been to any of them. Until I ventured into Stampede 66 located on the most southern part of McKinney Ave that I have ever been to.

I am by no means a burger expert or even a big burger fan, but I have heard rumors that Maple and Motor makes one of the best burgers in Dallas. If you’re looking for good burger recommendations around Dallas then check

Joe T Garcia’s, while technically not in Dallas, it is one of the few things that draws Dallasites to Ft. Worth. Not that there’s anything wrong with Ft. Worth, it can be a fun day trip from Dallas; we just typically have all of the same things here. In fact the majority of my last few trips to Ft. Worth have

A couple of weekends ago we ventured out to Winewood Grill (Grapevine) for a fun dinner with friends. There were 9 of us and we were quite a group but our waiter was a good sport putting up with us. Our group was setup outside on the covered, partially enclosed patio. I say partially enclosed because about

My friend V and I try to get together at least once a month to catch up; sometimes this happens and sometimes it doesn’t. For our last get together we tried out the new arrival to Mockingbird Station in Dallas: Mockingbird Taproom. We both love to try new places, so this spot was perfect.
I was the first to arrive so I ordered a Revolver Blood & Honey beer while I waited. Mockingbird Taproom

November 1st, I attended the I Live in Dallas 1st Ever Dallas Culture Buffs, Critics & Fanatics Bash at Park Tavern at The Shops at Park Lane and I absolutely loved the restaurant. We were out on the patio for Happy Hour but decided to order some food. The food was great, the patio was great and the drinks were great. Although before we

I am definitely tardy to the party that is Acme F&B Dallas. This restaurant that took over the old Cretia’s location on McKinney, next door to Corner Bar has been open for months and I had yet to make it in there. When my friend Kandice came in town and wanted to give it a try I happily volunteered to go

For months I had been seeing check in after check in at Coffee House Cafe but never seemed to make it in. Needless to say I was ecstatic when we settled on going there for my friend’s birthday brunch. It seemed like a perfect excuse for us all to try something new!

Woodlands Grill Dallas isn’t a brand new restaurant, but it is a relatively newcomer to the city. Or at least I’ve only recently become aware of it. Woodlands Grill is located just south of 635 off Preston and it was a great happy hour spot.

I had heard of Max’s Wine Dive for quite some time but thought only residents of the southern part of Texas were fortunate enough to have one in their cities, but not anymore! The rumors that Max’s Wine Dive would be opening in Dallas started circulating last spring and finally I got to go and experience

Last week we went out for Teal’s birthday to a place that only Teal and her husband Michael had been to up to that point. Misto Bistro is this inconspicuous restaurant at the corner of Rosemeade and Josey in Carrollton. The restaurant doubles as a catering company, so if you are looking for a
