I drove to Houston and back within last then 24 hours this weekend for Beth’s first wedding shower, so I spent a lot of time inside my car.

I love this sculpture down at Dee Lincoln’s on the patio; its simple yet amazing.

Please ignore the poor light and horrible bed making skills…but today I hung my painting from Erick Sandlin that I commissioned and absolutely love! You can check out his artwork on his website or if you’re in the Houston area you could even check out an exhibit.

This week we’ve had unusually cool temperatures here in Dallas and it’s been wonderful!

I went for my annual eye appointment and was given these new pairs of contacts to try out.

I’ve spent the majority of the week being sick with a horrible summer flu, so this was my path to recovery this week!
