Feb 11th – Day 42
Day 11 – makes you happy – today I spent a chunk of my day under my blanket (that I love because I successfully sewed it), with a cup of coffee and a great book!
Feb 12th – Day 43
Day 12 – is supposed to be inside your closet, but I cheated….I finally got to meet cute little Eliza! She is not quite 2 months old and I hadn’t met her yet. Eliza is the daughter of one of my sister’s best friends Rebekah.
Feb 13th – Day 44
Day 13 – I couldn’t decide which “blue” thing was the most like me, maybe because none of them are? But we still had some fun at Charming Charlie’s. Man I wish I’d painted my finger nails…
Feb 14th – Day 45
Day 14 – heart – this is my Valentine’s cookie from Westly (he may or may not have had a little help from Grandmom)
Feb 15th – Day 46
Day 15 – phone – this phone has barely stopped ringing since early November…busy season means, the phone is a torture device, complete with headphones!
Feb 16th – Day 47
Day 16 – something new – started this book today, couldn’t resist. I’ve heard it’s entertaining, plus it’s going to be a new TV series!
Feb 17th – Day 48
Day 17 – time – this my favorite time of the day because I’m free! And since today is Friday I’m looking forward to this time more than most days!

Feb 4th – Day 35
Day 4 of the February Photo Challenge – a stranger – these are the bartenders at Anvil in Houston, TX. They make some seriously creative and delicious drinks you must stop by next time you are in Houston.
Feb 5th – Day 36
Day 5 – 10 am – this is Cooper, my cousin Chase’s dog. He couldn’t decide if he should hop up on the couch with me or not and he looked so cute I had to take a photo.
Feb 6th – Day 37
Day 6 – dinner – this was my first attempt to make turkey chili turned out quite well. Thanks Chase & Aunt Cindy!
Feb 7th – Day 38
Day 7 – button – I stayed home sick this day and gave this button on my Keurig quite a work out!
Feb 8th – Day 39
Day 8 – sun – the sun never seemed to come out this day, and since I’ve been stocking up on vitamins all week, I tried out this new (to me) Naked Juice and the color reminded me of the sun!
Feb 9th – Day 40
Day 9 – front door – thanks to my Sis-in-Law and this adorable Pinterest inspired Christmas Present, my front door will always be decorated! And yes, it is made out of corks…does she know me well or what?
Feb 10th – Day 41
Day 10 – self portrait – because I’m still feeling like pooh…you get a sketched version of me instead of a traditional photo!

Jan 28th – Day 28
This was supposed to be Mom’s Christmas present, but when we went to assemble it on Christmas Day the table had a big chunk missing. So I had to wait for it to come back in stock and reorder it. The people at Bed Bath & Beyond made this a breeze & honored my original discounts (free shipping & 20% off), the rock!
Jan 29th – Day 29
A spur of the moment, ok it took us about an hour & a half of texting to decide what to do, brunch at Campisis can never be a bad decision!
Jan 30th – Day 30
These are the ingredients that went into my be crockpot recipe. How could anything with a wine marinade be bad?

Feb 1st – Day 32

Jan 21st – Day 21
Saturday I was at Hacienda on Henderson for a birthday dinner and a movie was being filmed there. See the guy in the picture above, I tried googling him and looking him up on IMDB; no luck! Supposedly he is or was on the Lying Game but I couldn’t find any proof.
Jan 22nd – Day 22
It had been over 3 weeks since I had last seen my nephews. So I had a blast hanging out with them Sunday afternoon. E has gotten so big, and W still doesn’t like to have his picture taken so the silly face was the best I could get!
Jan 23rd – Day 23
Monday night I was determined to finish reading “The Marriage Plot” by Jeffrey Eugenides that I forced myself to sit and finish it. Now I can say I’ve read it and won’t ever recommend it to anyone, see Monday’s post!
Jan 24th – Day 24
I had no idea that Starbucks did Valentine’s cups, but how cute is this one! Now if only the Cup Magic App was up to date!
Jan 25th – Day 25
Going to a Scentsy party was fun and dangerous…I walked away ordering way more than I probably should have, but I can’t wait for my new scents to arrive!
Jan 26th – Day 26
I love my new business cards so much I can’t wait to hand them out!
Jan 27th – Day 27
Borrowing this from yesterday. Last night I finally made it to Del Frisco’s Grille and tried the Apt 5D martini that was delicious. Look for a review coming next week!

This totally made me laugh! First of all I think it’s hilarious my mom has a Miniature Pinschers magazine. And second the fact that Callie seemed to be staring at the cover; I couldn’t resist snapping a pic!

Jan 7th – Day 7
It was a nice day here in Dallas, so Top Golf was packed! And the perfect day to celebrate two friends’ birthdays.
Jan 8th – Day 8
I know, I know, I’m such a slacker. I waited until the 8th to take down my Christmas Tree today. Bye, bye Christmas!
Jan 9th – Day 9
My friend Kandice gave me this Roasted Cauliflower recipe. I left out the Kosher salt but it’s delicious! And word of advice go easy on the red pepper flakes. My mouth was on fire!
Jan 10th – Day 10
The little sayings on the back of the Splenda packets crack me up! I want that person’s job.
Jan 11th – Day 11
I work in the same office space as my dad and I’m totally spoiled. Everyday he brings me coffee from Starbucks; but today I got 2 deliveries!
Jan 12th – Day 12
A blurry picture of a picture I took in San Francisco a few years ago that my dad tweaked in Photoshop and then framed for me. Makes me smile when I see it! (and definitely looks better in person)
Jan 13th – Day 13
Today I got to have lunch with my dad and my sister; we don’t do that enough! We headed up the road to Nate’s Seafood and this bright red cow on top of a bright pink building cracked me up!
