Trying to find a spot for breakfast or brunch in Allen, TX was impossible. But during my search I stumbled upon Spoons Cafe | Downtown McKinney, TX. This was a great find. Spoons Cafe is located right on the square in Downtown McKinney and offers a great breakfast menu that is served all day.
This place is adorable and the food was delicious! We were actually seated in the “garage” portion so we were sent around the side to the garage entrance.
I was so excited when I discovered that they offered cinnamon coffee since I am currently obsessed with that.
There were so many things on the menu that sounded good that it was hard to pick. Here is a sampling of what was ordered at our table:
This was the breakfast sandwich. I didn’t try it because a main ingredient was eggs, but I don’t remember there being much left of it.
Just because you are at Spoons Cafe around breakfast time, that doesn’t mean you have to order breakfast. Here is the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with a side salad.

Last but not least is Spoons Cafe’s Chicken and Waffles. I was thinking they would be chicken strips but it really didn’t matter, it was still awesome!
I can’t wait to head back sometime for lunch or dinner and try out one of the other amazing sounding items on the Spoons Cafe menu!
