The three day weekend that really kicks off the summer is finally upon us. I don’t know about you but I cannot believe June is next week! 2013 is flying by.

This Memorial Day weekend as you head out to relax or hang out with friends don’t forget it is a time to remember those who have or are serving in our military. After all it is because of their service and sacrifice that we can celebrate Memorial Day. Both of my Granddads served in the military during World War II and on Memorial Day I always think of them. Besides, how cute were they?
Both of my Granddads served in the Army Air Force. Yup you read that correctly; when they both first served in the military the Air Force was not a separate entity. So I guess technically they were both Army men. Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!
