I don’t know what it is but when I start thinking about blogging lyrics and song names begin popping in my head. However the particular lyrics I have chosen for this blog title, I really have no idea where they came from or where I heard them. . .but there they are, stuck in my head. For some reason they just seemed appropriate for my first post.
There will not really be any rhyme or reason to my posts everyday, other then the ideas floating around in my noggin. . .yes I said noggin, deal with it! The only exception to this collection of randomness will be “wine o. wednesdays.” I love wine; love, love, love it! I think it is because of the many varieties, tastes, smells, origins and combinations that can be discovered with each new bottle. Besides, where else could I talk about my thoughts on wine and have people listen? Well, fingers crossed that they listen. Wait, that will make it hard to type better do not cross the fingers just yet.
I do love to write and have always loved to write, although grammar as you may see is not my specialty (that’s what my mom & aunt are for!). Thanks to a few friends a couple years back I was inspired to write a book, well a novel. Technically it would be classified as a Chick-Lit book, falling in the category of Sohpie Kinsella, Cara Lockwood, Jane Green, and Whitney Gaskell. I list those names to give you an idea of what type of book I have written, not to suggest by any means that my book is as good as their books. These are just a few of my favorite Chick-Lit novelists, so if you haven’t read any of their books you should. In the next couple of days I will post the synopsis of my book up here for you to read, be sure to leave me a comment to let me know what you think. . .be honest. . .really honest. . .just don’t be mean, please.
A few months ago I was inspired to actually get off my booty and see if I couldn’t get my book published. So when ever you think about it, shoot up a few prayers for me. And if you have any tips for me, I am all ears!
By day I am a corporate slave (okay maybe that is a little harsh); by night I am a creative genius. I hope. My current creative outlets are working on my second novel and now thanks to Ashley I am designing websites. In fact Ashley Smith, Emily Adams and I have decided to join forces on a new project, Indie Frenzy, and it is a blast too even think about working with them again. I have missed that! (Check out Emily’s blog for details on our project.)
That’s all for now. . .I mean, I have to have something to write about tomorrow. . .

Yes, random thoughts of good times under a tree in the Napa Valley with good friends, a $22 bottle of an instant classic Cab, cheese and prosciutto ham! Who can beat that? (and I’ve since tried it under normal settings and it’s still good)
