That is the question. For months and months I have been hearing about Twitter and have had friends join it and recommend it to me. But I have resisted, not because I am too good for Twitter or because I think it is below me. . .honestly, it is because I don’t fully understand it.
I learned on the Ellen show today that P. Diddy is a member of the Twitter Community. He likes to put positive messages out into the world. He even has Twitterberry on his Blackberry and feels like Twitter allows him and other celebrities to take some of the control back about the stories about them. I thought that was an interesting statement.
Our elected officials are starting to Twitter as well. You can follow your Congressman at Tweet Congress. Or you can even follow the likes of Perez Hilton, the local Dallas weatherman and who knows who else.
So. . .today I did it. . .I joined Twitter. I am super new to this whole thing and don’t really understand it quite yet. But if you want to follow me you can find me under kateolynch, big suprise I know!
What are your thoughts on Twitter, or do you have any? I need tips and advice about what to do now that I am a registered member.

i’ve been tweeting for awhile now and i love it. mostly i’m amused by the funny comments by my friends… you know, it’s like when you see some freak at the grocery store with a complete spike-do that’s 6 inches out from their head and you have no one to tell? or there’s a guy with a mullet that’s 4 feet long in front of you at blockbuster? you can tweet it! and others can enjoy in the random entertainment that is called your day. 🙂 hope you like it!
