I am wondering if Twitter will end up being like Facebook was for me. I joined Facebook about 3 years before most of my friends at the request of my sister, so it has just been the last few years that I have really gotten into Facebook. Maybe Twitter will be the same way?
Since I am new to Twitter I haven’t really found a ton of people that I legitimately know, only a handful of friends. But I find it interesting that so many celebrities Twitter and find that to be pretty amusing. So far I am only “following” about 21 “people.”
Aside from friends, I am following the local weather man which means that I get regular weather updates, that saves me sometime because I don’t have to look up the weather. I’m following Ellen because I think she is so funny, if you are on Twitter you should follow her she is trying to get a million followers. I’m also following Perez Hilton so I can keep up with the celebrity gossip.
I think I’ll keep giving Twitter a try and see what happens. You can follow me if you want. . .I don’t know how entertaining I’ll be.
