Mia’s Tex-Mex is not a new Dallas restaurant and is by no means new to me. I discovered this little gem about 8 years ago and on my very first visit I tried their Brisket Tacos and was hooked. I think I’ve maybe strayed from this amazing dish one time. Then my friend Kandice introduced me to the Brisket Fajitas.
The difference between the Brisket Fajitas and Brisket Tacos is you get a little more food. When you order the tacos you get 2 but with the brisket you could easily get 4. Just be sure to ask for the brisket gravy if you order the fajitas.
We of course started with an order of Guacamole. They make really good Guacamole that is similar to how I make it (see my recipe here).
If you are in the Dallas area and looking for brisket tacos, then you HAVE to go Mia’s Tex Mex. The decor and atmosphere of Mia’s may not be anything impressive, but that is because they let the food speak for itself. I actually love that Mia’s is family owned and so low-key. It had been a year or longer since I had last visited Mia’s and one again it did not disappoint.
At Mia’s remember
If you haven’t made it to the Dallas establishment yet, you are missing out. Get on over to Mia’s!
