Whatever the birthday boy wants, the birthday boy gets. . .just kidding, Adam is one of my most laid back friends and as lame as it sounds. . .we spend a lot of time together sitting around watch TV and movies. But that’s what we like. Since we don’t live in the same town we just enjoy the time we get to spend together, no matter how it is spent.
I always love that when I come to Houston all of his med school friends just make me a part of the group. And tonight was no exception! Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so I have no pictures to show you from tonight. I know, I suck. . .but I was an hour south of Dallas when I realized I forgot my camera and I wasn’t gonna turn around and get it. . .even though I was super sad!
Tonight we went to Feast, it was a great restaurant. They serve rustic European fair, and it was super tasty. It was one of those dinners that lasted for 3 hours but it was a lot of fun . . .I am sad to be heading home tomorrow but I am excited to stop and meet baby Hudson Chartier on my way home, get ready for a bad camera phone picture tomorrow!
That restaurant looks fun (especially the “Back fat, parsley, and walnuts”.. yum?) Sounds like you two had a good time! Glad you got to spend some time with an old friend!
