Many the last two weeks have been crazy! I got the opportunity to do some freelance design work on short notice and spent most of my free time the last couple weeks working on that project. Now that I have turned it all in, I have some free time again. . .
I promise that I will get back to blogging on a regular basis.
We have gotten a lot of rain here the last week or so and I am excited to report that this has been wonderful for my flowers. Last year I lucked into this beautiful, huge hydrangea plant that didn’t cause me anything. . .but it only had two blossoms last summer, so far I can count 17 blossoms on it. . .I can’t wait! I think these are all going to be white, which means I won’t be able to alter the acidity in the soil to make them blue like I would like, but look at all the buds:
Towards the end of the summer last year I decided to buy another plant cause they were on sale and it never bloomed, but today I counted 7 blossoms. . .these petals have a hint of pink to them which means there is still hope that they can one day be blue!
