I know I’m biased, but I’m pretty positive my nephews are the most adorable dudes in the world! And I can’t believe how fast time flies! This past Saturday Easton turned 1.
This adorable little guy looked like this just a year ago:
He was so tiny and so cute. When I look at this picture I can barely see the Easton that is now one. Maybe it’s because these days I rarely see him sleeping. He is too busy exploring everything.
For a little perspective, this is what his awesome big brother looked like a year ago:
I love that these two have each other. Wesley is such a great big brother and Easton just adores him. It doesnt take much for Wesley to have Easton cracking up. Here are a couple more pictures from the day Easton was born, that I love!
To celebrate Easton turning one, we had a little Mexican Fiesta at my Mom’s house. Complete with sangria, margaritas, guacamole, queso, enchiladas and cupcakes.
It was a small gathering but we still went all out. I even brought over my pallet sign I made last fall for Beth & Brent’s engagement party because I really like it and I don’t know how many excuses I’ll have to use it!
Easton seemed more into the balloons than opening presents. But at 1 who can blame him? He doesn’t quite understand the excitement of ripping paper to find out what’s inside. Especially since his main gifts seemed to be clothes. He just wanted to roam around and explore and not have to sit still and open presents.
So he got a little help from his dad!
He was pretty entertaining to watch eat cake. I was really hoping he’d just dive right in but there were so many other things around that he was easily distracted. Plus I probably should have put extra icing on his cupcake for him to play with.
Big brother Wesley didn’t really want his picture taken the whole time, but I managed to get this picture. He looks so hipster with his mohawk its so cute! Sorry it’s a bit blurry but he wouldn’t pose! 
Over all I’d say the party was a success because Easton was so tuckered out on the way home he fell asleep like this:
