Finally, today was the day I got to see Legally Blonde the Musical. We had to swap out our tickets for opening night and replaced them with matinee tickets for the closing show.
Because we were going to an afternoon show instead of an evening show, we decided to do brunch before hand and headed to a relatively new restaurant called Jorge’s.
I had no idea what to expect with Legally Blonde, but the musical was super cute. I really enjoyed it and the adaption from the movie. There were obviously slight changes from the movie so that it would work on stage. The actress that played Elle Woods did such a good job at times I even thought she sounded like Reese Witherspoon.
Once again there were dogs in the musical which is always fun to see. I am always impressed at how well trained they are.
If Legally Blonde passes through your city I definitely recommend seeing it!
Sadly we only have two more musicals left in this season. It is amazing how quickly the season goes by.
