A few weeks back, oh wait, maybe it’s been about a month…man where has the summer gone? Anyway, last month we headed to SMOKE Dallas Restaurant at the Belmont Hotel for brunch during Beth’s Bachelorette Party weekend. If you haven’t made it to SMOKE Dallas, what are you waiting for? I have only been down to SMOKE for brunch, though I’m sure their other meals are equally as delicious!
We of course had to have mimosas, because what is brunch without mimosas? Though we were all so cold because our table was right under the A/C vents that a few of the girls opted for coffee over mimosas to warm up.
It’s always so hard to decide what to order at SMOKE Dallas, because everything is so good! I ordered the Full Monte. I like this dish because you get a good variety.
The Full Monte comes with Steak, Eggs, Biscuit, Potato Cakes & Peppercorn Gravy. But because I’m allergic to eggs the servers are normally nice enough to let me switch out the eggs for bacon and if not then it is plenty of food without the substitution.
Side note, you HAVE to try their bacon when you stop in. It is amazing!
Beth got the Farm Eggs Cooked Your Way which is eggs with a choice (1) side, (1) meat and (1) bread, so you can really customize your breakfast. Beth went with cheese grits for her side, bacon for her meat and a biscuit for her bread. The grits were really good!
Another breakfast ordered at our table that I was told was really good was the Broiled Raw Sugar Grapefruit. I didn’t try it but I believe it comes highly recommended. This dish also comes with Cheese Grits‐Hominy Casserole & Toast.
If you’re looking for some unique but delicious brunch dishes, look no further than SMOKE Dallas at the Belmont Hotel.
