So I took today off so that I could head to Houston to celebrate my friend Adam’s 30 birthday.
Today was low key which is the way I like it; we went to dinner at Mi Luna a great Tapa’s Restaurant in Rice Village and sat outside on their patio. Then we headed home and watched Vicky Christina Barcelona. I’m not too sure I would recommend it to any one; to me it was a typical Woody Allen movie. And by typical I mean, it looks way more interesting than it really is.
Here’s what I learned today:
- Not enough people use cruise control – I absolutely hate when I, who does use cruise control, pass a car and then 5 minutes later they pass me, then another 5 minutes pass and. . .oh. . .oh. . .look, I’m passing you. . .so annoying!
- Houston can have nice weather, fingers crossed for tomorrow.
- Jimmy Fallon isn’t as funny on his own show. . .maybe it is because it is his first week? I hope at least
That’s it. . .birthday adventures to come later.
Oh and congrats to the Chartiers on their new addition, I can’t wait to to meet him on Sunday!
