754 pages. . .geez, and this is a book for teenagers? In case you haven’t guessed I have finally finished reading Breaking Dawn, though I must admit I just keep thinking of it as Twilight part 4. . .probably not the best news to Stephenie Meyer as I am sure she had a good reason for naming what she did.
Now that I have finished this book I am a little relieved to find out how this saga comes to an end. I wasn’t completely surprised by the ending but yet I did feel myself unsure of which turn Meyer would take.
More than anything I find the imagination that this story required of the author in order to put pen to paper and I am fascinated. I really can’t help but wonder how in the world the imagery and a story like this enter a person’s mind. I am in awe. . .
I think that all the Twilight fans will finally encounter the events that they have been longing for all along and not walk away disappointed. But the flip side of this is I am sure that there some deeper, possibly even spiritual message in the story (I can only guess this based on Meyer’s own religious beliefs), but I just see it for the beautifully told story that it is.
I find myself trying to imagine how these characters and events will be represented in their movie versions. Doesn’t New Moon start filming soon? Rumor has it the same actors will be back, though I’m not quite sure that the possible addition of Vanessa Hudgens as Leah Clearwater into this story is a good fit. . .might be a bit of a stretch, thoughts?

I think it’s because you haven’t read Harry Potter yet that you think it’s crazy Breaking Dawn was over 700 pages. Read Harry now!! 🙂
