Winewood Grill | Grapevine

A couple of weekends ago we ventured out to Winewood Grill (Grapevine) for a fun dinner with friends.  There were 9 of us and we were quite a group but our waiter was a good sport putting up with us.  Our group was setup outside on the covered, partially enclosed patio.  I say partially enclosed because about 1/3 of each wall is glass panels.  But the panels don’t actually touch each other so there is a bout a 1/2″ gap on each side of each panel and when it’s cold outside it’s cold on the patio.  Luckily they could turn the heat up and it was perfect!

We started out with a variety of appetizers that we shared among the table.  In fact, we ended up getting half of the appetizers and they were all delicious.

As side from these three appetizers we also had the Winewood Grill (Grapevine) Tenderloin Bruschetta, unfortunately my picture turned out completely blurry.  This came with pesto on it so the waiter was kind enough to have one slice made for me without any pesto.  All of the appetizers were great but I think my favorite was the cheese plate.

Next up for dinner, our selections weren’t all that diverse.  Everyone wanted to try the Winewood Mac & Cheese.  So glad I was in good company!  What makes the Winewood Grill (Grapevine) Mac & Cheese unique is the use of gouda and hickory smoked bacon.  I think we had 3 orders on the table and not a bite was left!

Here are a few of our dinner selections.  I got the pork chop and it was great, so were the mashed potatoes!  I didn’t try anyone else’s food because after all the appetizers I was full.

After eating so much we all sat around chatting, letting our food digest and enjoying so cocktails for a bit.  Which means when the waiter came around and asked us about dessert, we are ordered one of each….

The Winewood Grill (Grapevine) did a great job of handling a large party and had great food.  We all had a good time but I should warn you it is a little on the pricey side, granted we each had a three-course meal and drinks.  But if you’re looking for a great spot for dinner in Grapevine head to Winewood Grill!
