This was one of the most interesting and entertaining movies I saw in 2008. We found out about the movie Bottle Shock while we were touring the Del Dotto caves in Napa back in August.
Unlike Sideways, this movie was focused on the wine with a little romance on the side. Despite Meredith’s fear that I had dragged her to a documentary, I think we both walked away happy. I felt like I was more educated about wine and really wished the Chateau Montelena wines weren’t so expensive so that I could try them. If anyone has a bottle they want to share with me, let me know and I’ll be there!

I’d like to see this! Looks fun… What I really mean is… I’d like to see this as long as there’s lots of wine involved… Is that terrible? 🙂 I’m just a better movie critic once I’ve had a bottle or two- ha!
It really was a great movie!! I was very impressed…but then again, I thought I was going to see a documentary!! :0)
