I still can’t freakin’ believe it is 2009! For some reason this New Year is harder for me to accept than any other I have lived through. I’m not sure what makes it so hard to believe. . .its not like I didn’t know it was coming. . .maybe its because this is the year I will turn 30, yikes. . .mostly it is because I don’t really feel that mature.
In all reality I am excited for the new year and to see all that it will bring. I feel like 2009 has started out as a good year. I spent most of the day enjoying the free movie channels. I keep forgetting that I have a free 30 days. . .so I thought I would try and eliminate a few items from my Netflix que. It was nice and relaxing. Then I ended the day with many good friends over at Kandice’s enjoying good food (everything is homemade at Kandice’s), good friends and good conversation.
Though on a more productive note, I did spend a portion of the day working on my book. I decided a few days ago that I thought it would be a good idea to reread my book and work on adding more detail to make a little more personal and relatable.
I have decided that my resolution for 2009 is most definitely to get my book published.
